Parking on The Green

Every year we see some erosion of the edges of The Green and this year is no exception. The Council politely request that The Green is driven on; particularly near the edges and especially near the play park. There is a car park behind the hedging, next to the tennis courts and cricket nets, which any one is welcome to use. The Council is exploring signage options to tell visitors where to park but for now, if all cars could be parked in the car park, that would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Parking on Grass Verges

There seems to be areas of verge that parishioners are parking on that have caused the grass to disappear and mud to be churned up. Again, the Council politely ask that care be taken when parking on any grass verge and only when it is absolutely necessary. If you have other parking options, we would be grateful if you could refrain from parking on the verges to allow new grass to come through once Spring arrives. This does happen every year but does need some management during these wetter months. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
